Nothing says luxury like an expensive designer watch. While you can get some stunning watches for more reasonable prices, there are some watches that you just simply can’t afford. Here are a few of the most expensive watches money can buy:
Louis Moinet Meteoris Watch: $4.6 million
This designer watch has to cheat a little bit to make it on this list as it is actually a set of 4 stunning watches sold together. But since you can only buy the set, we’re going to rank it among the most expensive watches money can buy.
Hublot Big Bang: $5 million
This watch made headlines when Beyoncé purchased it for then-fiancé Jay-Z back in 2012. It has 1282 diamonds totaling over 100 carats, making it the ultimate bling bling.
Patek Philippe/Henry Graves Pocket Watch: $17 million
This watch was originally completed in 1932 by Patek Philippe for the world-famous banker and watch collector Henry Graves. The watch took over 8 years to make and was the most advanced timepiece ever made (at the time). In 1999 it sold for $11 million and is expected to get close to $17 million at auction.
Breguet Grande Complication Marie-Antoinette: $30 million
This one-of-a-kind watch was designed by Breguet himself! It has 823 parts (more than a smartphone). The original watch was never completed as Breguet died before he could finish it and the partial watch was never found. Swatch has since reproduced it from the original plans. They have received offers upwards of $30 million, but they (foolishly?) declined to sell the watch.
